I don't have a Snuggie, but I want one.
My roommate has 6 tests this week, 3 of which are today, and she studied all weekend. She didn't leave the house for two days so she could cram her brain full of anatomy and organic chemistry. I managed to ignore any and all responsibilities for the same amount of time and did little more than re-read the 7th Harry Potter, while neglecting my own personal hygiene like a champ.
I'm in the process of reading Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus. You guys, the 90s were funny.
I have never understood why so many people liked The Wonder Years. First of all, Fred Savage is a tool. Second, this show has more awkward pauses than The Office. And finally, Fred Savage is a tool (that was for you, KLZ.).
Also, I don't like The Office.
When I was little, I refused to poop unless my dad bribed me with M&Ms.
This is what is in my refrigerator at this very moment:
Ignore the stuff on the shelf above because none of it is mine.
What you're seeing is eggs, yogurt, two containers of hummus, some tortillas from October, suspicious looking soup and green beans. Oh, and the cheese is there, it's just hidden in the back. Clearly, the Vegan Police would have my badge.
Finally, only moments ago, I beat a spider to death with my slipper. And then I apologized to it.

Fred Savage may have been a tool... but Danica McKellar is so freakin' hawt.
I never understood The Wonder Years. I have been ignoring my responsibilities as well! It's so much more fun.
Okay. I knew I loved you. But the first thing, about John and Yoko...it makes me love you even MORE!
LOL......I don't like The OFFICE either! I feel like such a weirdo because everyone seems to LOVE that show!
Possibly my favorite post you have ever written. And I've liked pretty much all of them.
Two comments: Is lemur juice a real thing?
I've heard people swear by Men are from Mars...but they were all considerably older than us. I hope you will give a full review.
HA!
Spiders don't deserve apologies. Plus, they only understand Chinese, so you wasted your breath.
Winnie was HAWT! The show was NOT!
Um, you're kind of a mess right now. You gonna be alright?
Imagine was definitely over rated. I never watched the Wonder Years. Never read the alien book about men and women either. Dead spiders are always the most welcome type though.
The Wonder Years scares me. The kid is awkward and the narrator talks to much.

see when i hear imagine all i can picture is them in that damn bed. then i want to shove a pencil up my nose to erase that part of my brain cuz ick.
and i have to second wanting a review of the book. i want to know what it is all about. my reading time is full of magazines. i prefer pictures. are there pictures in that book?
I do like The Wonder Years but I'm bummed that Fred Savage is a tool.
And I'd also like a Snuggie. I chill easily.
But that is what I liked about the Wonder Years- that it was so awkward.
I don't like The Office, though.
Can I just tell you how much I'm loving the 7th book of Harry Potter?! I'm just reading it for the first time and there's so much FREAKING ACTION. I can't wait to go see the movie.
And...
Savage=tool. Agreed.
i don't own a snuggie...but both of my older kids have one. compliments of their grandmother. i still haven't forgiven her. i'm also halfway through my 853rd reading of the 7th harry potter. prepping for the movie. i've successfully abandoned my husband AND my kids in this endeavor. i feel that a maternal presence is overrated these days. there are hallows and horcruxes to be dealt with, people!
I can't deal with The Office, either. Shows and movies that rely on uncomfortable situations and extreme awkwardness for humor make me hide behind the nearest throw pillow. I feel awkward often enough on my own without having to share in the awkwardness of fictional characters.
My gosh that was random, even for you ;).
So this blog is basically a list of all the things I love about you? :) xoxo
Totally ignoring that you don't like the office. I refuse to believe it. Now, I did the same thing in college. Some of us are better at studying when we are NOT looking at the books, right?
Firstly, I actually read "Men are from Mars" IN the 90's for relationship advice at the time. I felt John Gray was speaking directly to me at the time. I know.
And nextly, if you don't like The Office, I'm going to have to strongly review our friendship. It's one of the few shows I actually LOL at. Such a shame - I've always felt the two of us had something special.
I loved the Wonder Years, but I'm with you on the office, too cringy for me.
OMG I WANT A SNUGGIE TOO. I tell you this as I am bundled up in a blanket next to a space heater. But you know what? The backs of my legs are STILL COLD. WTF.
i love that you withheld poop to get M&Ms.
AHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA! Your imagination never ceases to illicit full body laughter out of me! The Imagine scenario...I totally get that.
On the other hand, Fred Savage was my first MAJOR crush...like I wanted to jump is little 12 year old bones...BAAADDDDDD! Odd, because I tend to like the edgier males, and Mr. Savage (AKA, Moley, Moley, Moley from Austin Powers) is NOT edgey. Or dangerous.
And the office??? Sheer brilliance Sara! How can you not like??
Omigosh, I DO NOT LIKE "Imagine" either. It just always struck me as a remarkably stupid, self-congratulatory song.
But don't tell anyone I said that, or I will probably be dead by tomorrow morning.
You know, Fred Savage did do a lot of weird facial movements and thought pauses. Tool indeed!
I have a 'cuddle wrap' and it is awesome. You won't be disappointed!
All things to be proud of my dear. And i am so re-reading part 7 starting tomorrow.
Really? First the hamster commercial and now The Office?
This is a whole lot that you are asking me to overlook.
If you even try to say you hate 16Candles or Dumb and Dumber? We will go our seperate ways.
You can keep Elephanch.
Sara, You are forgiven for your remark about John Lennon/Imagine. From me, you're getting the benefit of the doubt on account of your age.
For folks like me who were coming of age when John was a Beatle... this music holds a life-line to our youth! I'm sure one day you'll feel the same way about your favorite artists/music.
Everything else you said I can agree with. And your shelf in the fridge is pathetically hilarious! You always make me laugh. You need to write a book or start a radio show OR SOMETHING! You're the Erma Bombeck of your time! Have a Happy Holiday Season. Keri
Hilarious! And at least you apologized. I'm with you on every count, especially about the Wonder Years and The Office.
And tell your roomate, she has my deepest sympathy. I am currently going through the same cramming process...ignore the fact that I'm blogging, it will reflect in my grade for sure, then next week I'll be posting about how shitty I did on my finals.
haha... you know what? I like Imagine when Eva Cassidy sings it! Because she actually SINGS IT!
I, too, was potty trained on peanut M&M's.
Kelly
Haha I want a snuggie too! besides the rage, they look sooo comfy!
you crack me up, FOR REAL... love this post!!
The Office was ok....but now I want to beat them all to death with a slipper. And not apologize.
Sara: "ARE YOU DEAD YET?" Spider: "________" Sara: *slamming her slippper on the spider more* "ARE YOU DEAD YET!?!?!?" Spider: "______" Sara: "I'm sorry." I can just picture it perfectly.
Fred is a tool isn't he, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't like the Wonder Years, I sort of loved it.
Poop for M&M's seems like an even trade to me.
I read Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus in the 90's - seriously I was in my first relationship and we were HS sweeties - why did I feel I needed that book? Why didn't I just dump his ass?
