Hey, It's Okay Tuesdays

It's Tuesday, so now I shall discuss the things with the people at the place that happened that one time.  And stuff.

If you need clarification, talk to Amber.  She knows what I'm talking about.

Hey, it's okay...

...if you get really tired of everyone wanting to have a super fun carry-in style cookout, because you get really tired of explaining to people that you don't super fun cook.

...if your birthday wish for your brother was actually you telling him about a restaurant you want to patronize whenever you visit.

...if your birthday wish for your mother was largely unintelligible but had something to do with ponies and streudel.

...if you kind of love Meghan McCain after seeing her on Chelsea Lately.

...to watchWeeds when you have a bad day because no matter what's going on, you're not a single suburban mother of two, so S.O.L. that you had to resort to selling pot to all the men in your gated community to maintain your standard of living.

...if you spent 3 hours yesterday trying to figure out why the DVD player on your laptop wouldn't work because you've got the 3rd season of The Tudors  from Netflix and damn it, you want to watch it!

...if you're really excited to go to bed because the sooner you wake up, the sooner you get to eat again.

...if you miss the highly crabby, yet highly efficient financial aid department at IU.

...if you are the only person in the entire world who can't wear Toms due to some oddly shaped, yet still attractive, feet.

...if, after less than 24 hours without carbs, you are having some very inappropriate thoughts about your dear friend, Toast.

I saw Meghan McCain on the Daily Show and was really surprised by her. I'm not sure what I expected her to be like, but she was much more likable than I expected. She seems so...normal.

Yeah, Weeds does have a way of making my problems seem more manageable.

I haven't seen the Tudors, but I really want to watch it. My 401 paper was about those people! (And music, I guess).

I DO NOT miss the Financial Aid dept at IU, but that's because I was one of those people for 3 months. Ugh.

Love, love, love The Tudors. It was a sad day when I had to cancel my HBO and Showtime.

I wish our Financial Aid was much better. It takes for ever for them to process everything. I am sorry you have odd shaped feet but am glad they are still cute. :]

Is it okay that I'm confused by this post???

Can someone please tell me what Toms are? I feel like I'm the only person on the planet that doesn't know this.

But hey...it's okay.

If your brother is a fraction as witty as you are, I am going to have to start following him.

...uh, not in a creepy way, of course.

What?! I'm just jealous you got the 3rd season of The Tudors. That is all.

i get delay going to bed at night because i'm phobic of being without food for that long. it's for that reason that i hate brushing my teeth (don't worry, i still do it) because it's like the point of no return eating wise.

but really, ask my husband... i have to eat RIGHT up until the point of brushing my teeth... oh the food wrappers in the bathroom trashcan and dirty dishes on my nightstand...

really, it's a problem. i'm glad you don't have it.

I'm all about going to sleep so I can get up and eat again! You're my kind of girl, Sara. Well, Surferwife is your kind of girl...I just like to eat.

I probably COULD wear Toms, but I wouldn't. They may be for a great cause - which I would donate to - but I just don't do ugly shoes. (See: Uggs.)

So, don't worry. Your fashion sense is grateful for your oddly shaped feet.

I thought the same thing about Meghan when I saw her on Chelsea. The whole "image consultant" thing made me giggle.

1. Followed Meghan McCain's blog throughout the campaign and loved it. Just YouTubed her interview with Chelsea and loved HER. Must read this book.

2. GASP! I still haven't watched your dirty Tudors yet! I need to get on that.

I saw Megan McCain on the Daily Show, and even though I was annoyed with all of her giggling, I still thought she was ridiculously cute. And I actually want to read her book now!

Sara I think we learn more about you on Tuesday than any other day of the week.

You are not the only one that goes to bed just so you can wake up and eat again!

I love your thoughts on Weeds. That is exactly why I loved watching Rock of Love Bus back when I had cable. It was the stupidest show in the world but damn did it make me feel like a valuable and worthwhile person.

I am so glad it's OK to like (and ahem..follow...) Meghan McCain. I was really starting to doubt my place in the herd of the jackasses.
