Hey, It's Okay Tuesdays

Tuesdays are pretty damn magical around here.  It's when we get together, bang a drum, eat s'mores and tell each other that all the weird, nonsensical things we do are completely appropriate.  The Whispering Writer is the originator and quite super.  I'd recommend her to a friend.

*I would like to dedicate this post to two absolutely fantastic human beings who bought me pizza, reminded me how to throw a frisbee and taught me how to eat vegetables like a big girl.

Sally and Jon, you two are the cat's pajamas in my book.

Hey, it's okay...

...to hope the awesome dream you had about George Eads (Nick Stokes) from CSI totally comes true.

...to be sad that you couldn't call your super awesome missionary friend in Finland when you saw a girl totally and unintentionally bite it on a Slip 'n Slide.

...if you still pray your tiny college town will open up a Dunkin' Donuts before you graduate.

...if your roommates accidentally killed your basil plant while you were away.   Bless 'em, they tried so hard.

...to not like the way the new State Farm Insurance spokesman says "la familia."

...if you just really like your own toilet.

...if your big plans for the evening are to make your organic mac and cheese and enjoy the latest episode of Glee with a glass of wine and a homemade pop-tart.

...if your professor lost your 15-page term paper.  Wait- no, it isn't!

I really wish we would get a Dunkin' Donuts. That would be amazing.
I love Glee. Thought I wouldn't but I do.
He lost your 15 page term paper? That is crazy! I would be so mad.

Mmmmm mac n' cheese....

My mom is plant-sitting for my basil while we're on the bigger part of our trip, and I hope she remembers to water it. It's pretty young and fragile.

And at the end of the day, there's really nothing like your own toilet.

I have my very first ever and momentous complaint about your blog. Ready?

WHERE THE FLIP HAVE YOU BEEN. POSTING ONE TIME A WEEK IS NOT ENOUGH. I TWITCH THE REST OF THE WEEK WHEN YOU GO AWAY FROM ME.

You paper wasn't really lost, right?

But is it ok if......your big plans for the evening are to make KD mac and cheese and enjoy the latest episode of Glee with a Bacardi breezer wine cooler and Doritos?

I think there is some sort of conspiracy going on within the Dunkin Doughnuts company. When I was a kid they were ALL OVER the place. Now, they are scattered few and far between. The closest one to us is something like 250 miles away.....don't think I haven't been tempted to make that drive! No word on one being opened here. But, fingers crossed!

I DO like my own toilet. I hate having to use the one at the office. Especially when my Activia challenge is right on target...thanks Jamie Curtis.

I'm so curious now... How do you make pop-tarts!?

Yes, do tell! How do you make a home-made Pop-tart? Then tell us WHY you would make a homemade Pop-tart? - G

I totally wish that I could "will" some dreams into reality. That would be so awesome because Hugh Jackman would totally have a twin and I would have made out with both of them. Just sayin.

I have a very strong dislike for any toilet that is not my own.

There is nothing wrong with those big plans! Sounds like a perfect evening to me. Now if I could just remember to DVR Glee so I can actually see what it's all about.

I would have had a heart attack if a prof lost one of my papers! I'm having a hard time breathing just thinking about it.

Please tell me you are lying about this....as you can see, I am stressed about it.

Love it there. I hope they build one for you. They don't have one around here but I go whenever I visit my parents.
