AmericanTribal bestowed this little gem upon me:
This gal is not afraid of a little honesty, so receiving this from her means I'm pretty bad-ass, too.
Also, you should read about why she's so rad. You know, because she is.
I'm passing this award on to Foxy at The Fox Den. If you go to this post, you'll see exactly why she earned this award. And you will enjoy it. Or I will end you.
I also want to give this to Nathanael at This is How it Feels, because this boy will tell you exactly what a hot mess he can be, and you will love him for it.
Next, I got this nugget from Mandi (there's a minister handy!) at Life in Beta and Nathanael from This is How it Feels.
She's a single Yankee living in the South (something to which I completely relate) and she refers to herself as a code monkey, which cracks me up every time I read it.
He's a sparkly, passionate, army-trained bucket of honesty and I tend to get a little protective of him. So, don't mess with him or I will throw elbows like Xtina.
I want to give this to Sarah from Live In Imagination. I know few people that see the positive side like she does and she reminds me that I don't have to hate everything. Well, at least not all the time.
Cathy from Antsy Pants dropped this bomb of preciousness on me:
I think this post is a good way to learn about her, particularly her flatulent family members.
This one is definitely for Carolyn at Team Boo. Now, I don't think she's much for awards, which is fine, but she's one of the prettiest pregnant ladies I've ever seen. So cute I could spit.
Monique of A day in the life of a Surferwife gave me this one because she thinks so highly of me:
As it turns out, I am pretty delightful. Know what else is delightful? Her celebrity encounters. This is one of my favorites.
Speaking of delightful (who else is loving these transitions?), I want to give this award to Diary of a Mad Bathroom. I think her Post-It Note Tuesdays are where she does some of her best work.
After a moment or two, I got slapped in the face with positivity:
This came from Charlene at her blog, The Balance Beam. This woman makes lemonade like nobody's business and I'm touched that she thinks mine could even be half as worthy.
Now, I've yet to find anyone that can make lemonade out of cat pee, but Salt from Salt says... comes really close. Okay, not literally people, because that's icky. Just read it and quit sassing me.
Last of on the list but first in my heart, this award came from Christina at Too Pretty For This.
Not to play favorites, but she's one of them. This gal has quirky coming out of every orifice (you heard me) and I think you need to read about her showering practices. Like, right now.
I'm about to go pluralistic on your asses. I want to give this to Shell at Things I Can't Say, because no one uses the word "motherbitch" like she does.
I'm also giving this to Monique at A day in the life of a Surferwife because, well, I think highly of her, too!
Finally, I'm passing this to Kay at The Van Gogh Cafe. Kay caught my attention when she shared with me that "Technology sometimes just needs to be told what a dirty whore it is." Also, I giggled when I read about her two favorite Christmas presents, and I like anything that makes me giggle.
Now, if you'll excuse me, 30 Rock starts in 4 1/2 hours and I have to get ready.

This is the most wonderful day ever! Thank you so much for my beautiful lemonade stand. I think my new mantra is going to be "when life gives you cat pee...make lemonade". I'll be sure to work it into regular real life convo tomorrow to really confuse some folks.
xo
Well, it does! ;)
Thanks a bunch, girl!
So what's the proper ettiquette when the award you gave me is the same exact award I gave the blog that gave it to you?
Confused? Me too, me too. But thank you for thinking so highly of me h-less Sara!
Aww, thanks. You are too sweet! :]
If there are ever two things that require hours of prep time, it's 30 Rock and date parties.
OH! I had a crazy dream. I'll have to tell you about it sometime later.
Congrats! I love your segues by the way. :)
Thanksss !!!! :-)
Love all those peeps and so glad you honored them. And also love that you need 4 1/2 hours to get ready for 30 rock, these are the kinds of things i find horribly endearing.
:-)

Just when I thought I had no plans for the weekend...now I have a whole list of new bloggers to check out. I would curse you, but I know this will work out better for me in the end. Congratulations on your awards!!
Hahah. Have you ever heard of the cartoon series Code Monkeys? You made me think of it, and I love you for it.
Congrats on all your awards!
YAY for awards!!! Congrats :)

Muchas gracias and Happy Birthday!!!!
CONGRATS!!!
Every orifice? My gosh, I need to start being more careful in public.
You deserve every one of those, so hurray for you!
And I hope the semester is starting well... feel free to bitch a little if you need. I, for one, would enjoy it. ;-)
on the other hand,
you are quite the award...."hussie" (??)
you have many admirers. I have a lot of back fat.
...but if that makes me cute and cuddly when i'm pregnant, then I'll take it!
:)
