"I have two ears and a heart, don't I?"

I have a research paper that is due tomorrow.

I haven't started.

I have another paper and project due next Friday.

Haven't started on that either.

We talked about domestic violence and battering today in class.

My heart broke.

What is making all of this okay so that I'm currently able to function?

One word:

GENESIS.

I challenge you- nay! I dare you to listen to "Invisible Touch" without your toe tapping, your head bobbing and/or your heart filling with tree nymphs and pixie dust.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I must return to the land of confusion.

I looked up the music video on YouTube. You couldn't be more right.

I have a sudden urge to flip my hair off my shoulder and sing into some drum sticks...

Good luck with the papers!

Hey Sara... Very criptic this post. Makes me curious to see the invisible touch. You're good. I know you'll pull things off. If you're anything like me, when I've procrastinated to the point of pressure, I get a burst and start getting it done. BUT, while I'm plowing thru it and it's looking good I think, damn, this is good. Would it have been better had I not procrastinated, or is it good because of the pressure? LOL Sorry.. Hey, thanks for stopping in on S365. I LOVE THAT YOU DO/DID! kERI

I couldn't do it. I had to dance. And how did Phil Colliins ever make a receding hairline look so good?

My best, Lynn

Ahh, Sara, I'm sorry if my comment came across as if I was implying some fault with your post!

Hope the paper-writing is working in warp speed! That's when a lot of my best work was done, too.

And my worst work. Because that's actually how I did *all* my work.

Anyway... good luck!

sara - not a fan of genesis

can't put my finger on it

phil collins, yes, in some cases

in addition, i feel your school pain and it brings back painful flashbacks of writing term papers while high on marijuana - and still getting a C- - stupid teachers

furthermore, i just got to your comment on my black friday post and young lady i don't like your tone when discussing xmas. don't make me come to NC and blow a jingle bell up her hiney because i will do it. i will do it.

love ya s :)

sara, one last thing - i love the word WANKER too

Christina,

I was not in the least offended by your comment. I just realized I could make it a little easier by adding the link, so you were quite helpful!

Here is what I have to say about that... AMEN SISTA! It's strange but true.

A word of encouragement (though you didn't ask for it) someday you will be sitting in your car waiting for your 1st graders to get out of school, and you will be watching children play and enjoy themselves... and you will miss school. You will miss being in a classroom, and having someone teach you, and writing papers and working on group projects. Someday you will remember all of this and forget how much it sucks.
:) cheers!

Just the thought the of school work makes me feel tired. It must be a Pavlovian thing for me.

On another note: I think I'll give Genesis a whirl.

I have a friend who swears that Phil Collins makes her want to kill herself. So I often call her when I hear him on the radio and just let the sweet tunes play.

PS I'm following!
