And now, I would like to provide a list as to not only why I love my Dad, but why I like him.
1. I have several friends who think he looks like Richard Dreyfus.
2. He wears a very recognizable Indiana Jones style hat so his head doesn't get burned.
3. He likes to teach himself colorful phrases in Mandarin.
4. He eats slower than anyone I know.
5. Sometimes, he'll take my car and fill up the tank... just because.
6. One of his favorite movies is Funny Girl.
7. When I come home, the radio in the garage, the TV in the kitchen and the radio in the dining room will all be on... and he will be nowhere in sight.
8. His favorite Charlie's Angels cast member is Kate Jackson.
9. He taught me how to love and hate the Cubs at the same time.
10. He laughs through the first 45 minutes of Full Metal Jacket.
I love you, Dad! You're my other favorite!

I firmly believe that if people truly gave "Funny Girl" a chance, they would love it. Kudos to your dad for trying it! :)
Dads are the best, aren't they? And your Dad souns like a great guy. I'd like to know what colorful Mandarin phrases your Dad knows. I know how to say "dumb egg" and a few others. These kinds of things come in handy every now and again.

I had never thought about it, but I would probably have difficulty distinguishing your dad from Richard Dreyfuss from a distance.
