I've had the same Netflix movie since March.
This is pathetic.
Every day, I walk past the television and the red envelope on top of it that hasn't moved in over a month. I look at it, roll my eyes and then promise myself that tonight will be the night!
Oh, but it never is.
When I get home from work, I generally eat dinner with my parents and then our evening television lineup begins, and this voids most movie plans. While it varies most nights, it always starts the same way:
Jeopardy at 7:30!
This week is College Jeopardy, which I love because sometimes I actually get the final Jeopardy question right. Then, I do a little dance around the living room involving invisible lassos and fishing poles.
.....................................................
Oh, right. Netflix. So, despite the fact that I will make the same promise to myself tonight, it will, once again, not be viewed.
But Sara, you might ask, why not just send it back?
Because that means Keira Knightley wins, and I will not let that English tart beat me.

So until then, Ms. Knightley- stop judging me or I'll drop kick your bony arse.

We've had "For Your Consideration" for like three weeks.
Hahahaha Yarawast!!
I had that movie for over a week before I sat down and watched it. It was pretty good. ;) Now that I've gone and updated my queue, it's put a spark in me to really watch them and get them out. Good luck...
(stopping by from SITS)
I don't have netflix anymore but I would always just send it back when I had it. I know its letting her win but march? come on. hah.
Tammy and Meg- thanks for stopping by!
We're having a similar stand off with "letters from Iwo Jima". No nights seems like a good one to watch a depressing war movie, but we can't just send it back.
this is the best! my husband is the craziest with movie rentals, sometimes i tease him that it feels like a job to watch them all. I don't, but he does. It is out of control. Sometimes game shows are just what i crave, mindless corny entertainment ;)i saw and enjoyed the Dutchess
thanks for the comment you left me! i think i love fat baby thighs so much cause my babies were the skinniest little chickens i've ever seen. I was deprived ;)
have a great weekend!
Dude, I've been staring at "Thank you for Smoking," "Into the Wild," and "Memento" for WEEKS. Somebody should do a psychological study (and pay me $20 to participate).
The only way I finally watched that flipping movie was by quite literally scheduling it into my day. Sad, but true. Thanks to all the newbies for stopping by!
I, just yesterday, sent back "The Secret" with David Duchovny because, by golly, I finally realized after about three weeks, that we were not going to watch it. You are not alone, dear girl. I guess Kiera beat me, though.
