Holiday highlights

I think it'll be a lot easier for everyone if I attempt to do this in an abbreviated version we can all appreciate- with pictures.

  • As you may or may not know, my car died, but I think I may have a new (to me) one:

It looks black, but the color is actually "evergreen mica".

  • I met up with several good friends:

We like delicious dairy treats.

They have Disney eyes.

  • I also had the opportunity to exchange presents with friends and family:

Kate is a straight up delight and I will throw
down with anyone who says differently.

The cover of that book says, "Grandma's dead."  Grandma, by the way, was sitting to his right.

  • Finally, Lisa (also known as the Blonde Blogette) and I traveled to Chicago to see the best musical of 2008:

IN THE HEIGHTS

Actually, the story of how Lisa and I got to Chicago is rather entertaining, but I'll save that for another time.

That's what I've been doing for the last two weeks.

So- what's up with you?

P.S. I need a name for my car.  Aaaand..... GO.

could you name your car, "Sir Douglas Fir"? Because its color is evergreen? Just a thought :)

Looks like a fun holiday!

I don't name my cars- though I usually end up calling them all bastard-piece-of-shit at some point.

Ooh, I like the suggestion made by the Sara WITH an H. I don't think I can beat that one.

& My car is in need of a replacement too. =/

Also, I'm with Sarah's name too. That's a good one.

Looks like your car is bound to be called Sir Douglas. I drive a red Mustang convertible, named Colonel Ketchup...so totally OK to name your car after a noun.

You could name it the Pickle. maybe Super Pickle?

:) Looks like fun!

Melody. I don't know why, but I think it's a girl and her name is Melody. Or Sherrie. Or LaFawnDuh.

car name: cricket.

I kind of lean toward Leroy. Leroy's tend to be or wear green, particularly shades like "evergreen mica."

I like Peabody.

I can't wait for you to chronicle our adventures on the road to the Windy City!!!

And I don't think anyone would ever say Kate is anything less than a delight. But if they did, I'd back up your throw down.

Sounds fun! I've been housebound conducting some very intense--and hilarious--potty training. It's going well, but think this final day (of this stretch) will be a long one.

It's always the right time for tasty quiescently frozen dairy treats. :o)

Just found your blog! And I really, really like you already because of the fact that your blog roll is named "I want to go to there."
mm I love Liz Lemon and 30 Rock.

I named my car Debbie. Or wait, maybe it's Donna. It starts with a D. I'm pretty bad with names, even if I drive the thing..

You can name yours Herbert or something.

If it's a boy, that is.

Summing up with pictures is the best! It looks like you had a great holiday. As far as a name for your car...I'm not sure, but I agree that it needs one. Thanks for stopping by my blog!
