Wait, what now? What was that, Sara?
You mean waking up early?
No, the one after that.
Umm, the coffee?
One more...
Oh, you mean the rhubarb!
Yes, dipstick. I mean the rhubarb.
Well, I decided to go to the Farmer's Market this morning.
I lurve the Farmer's Market. As I strolled from booth to booth, I looked for that thing I needed.
I wasn't sure what it was, but then... my eyes fell on something gorgeous:
Now, you might wonder what I'm going to do with.
Well, so do I.
Something about the Farmer's Market vibe makes me lash out and buy produce. I can't explain it.
I almost bought kohlrabi.
What the hell is kohlrabi?

wait....so what did you do with it?
i have no idea what that kohl whatever is. not even a smidgen of a clue.
but i do know that i've had some amazing strawberry rhubarb pie. yes, yes i have.
per your comment- good friend? yea sure. maybe. i am a couple years older than those girls, so i usually tend to take on the mother/corrupting big sister role. there was actually only one girl at the party who i haven't carried out of a bathroom.
maybe i'm just too butch... hmm something to look into.
I would NOT know what the heck to do with rhubarb other than look at it and feel proud of myself for having bought it. Good for you!!
It's so pretty... but what ARE you going to do with it?!!
hahahaha! What did you end up doing with it?
yum. we use to eat it raw with salt when i was growing up. we also use to swim in the flipped over car top carrier, sew our own underwear and think grape jello was fruit.
so then there's that.
enjoy.
well if your to lazy (as i often am) to make pie dough you could always make a rhubarb crisp ( like apple crisp only better) or just peel the red skin back sprinkle with some salt or sugar and champ away . yUM Yum yuM
